TEXTURED IMAGES
One of the most creative and fun techniques I've learned in PhotoShop is texturing, simply adding one or more images on top of your original image and blending. Thanks to some of the generous fellow-artists on Red Bubble, I learned how to create art out of photos that were - well, rather bland! There are thousands of free textures and tutorials on the internet, a wealth of resources.
As you will see below, the sky is the limit as to what you can do with textures. I particularly like images of parchment paper, paper bags, old concrete and some of my own of clouds and blurred light. Here are a few that I've used, but there are so many more on the internet that you can choose anything you like.
If you have any questions about texturing, please email me at tibart@mindspring.com.
Below you will see how you can create images that come to life when textures are added. Click on each thumbnail to see full size image.
